The Ideal Global Population - A Case Study

As an entry in the John Locke Essay Competition, this essay examines the factors going into determining the desired global population based on a multitude of environmental and resource-related factors, as well as the ethical questions posed by such an assessment. It considers the variation in fertility rates between developing and developed nations, and the correlation this has to environmental risk and their respective contribution to the climate crisis.
